Display Segment

As the world’s first organic cadmium-free color-conversion layer, MolecuLED’s proprietary produces vibrant colors that exceed the NTSC color standard, based on pure organic molecules.


In addition to the technology breakthrough that shows for the first time a fully organic and non-toxic color conversion layer, it is also very attractive with its cost offering which is merely 5% of any QD (Quantum Dot) competing technology. The MolecuLED solution is based on proprietary developed molecules, embedded in a film that can be easily integrated into the TV BLU (Back Light Unit). The molecules also provide electroluminescence capabilities for a wide range of OLED solutions.

Applying innovative chemically-synthesized compounds that demonstrate unique nanoscale properties of vivid color fluorescence and self-assembling particles, MolecuLED has utilized these attributes to dramatically enhance LCD and OLED display technology.

Existing solutions use either cadmium or other metals banned for use in the EU and containing a warning by the CPSC (Consumer Product Safety Commission). By contrast, MolecuLED organic color-conversion enhancement layer is safe and environmentally friendly. No Cadmium, No Indium, No metals whatsoever!

When excited by light, or by electric voltage, MolecuLED layer generates unmatched color vibrancy that exceeds NTSC color-gamut standard. For the LED backlight displays, it converts the blue backlight to tunable green and red wavelengths.

The MolecuLED layer generates high wavelength accuracy that guarantees high energy-efficiency, resulting in considerable cost savings. Moreover, MolecuLED brightness is significantly increased due to the unique properties of organic compounds that minimize energy loss.

Horticulture Segment

One of the most growing fields in the Agriculture segment is Cannabis growing. The market size for Cannabis is expected to grow from $9.3B in 2017 to $146.6B in 2025.


Cannabis growers face quite few challenges, among others is the need to increase plant production on one hand, while reducing the growing cost on the other hand.

MolecuLED unique color conversion technology can help in the above mentioned two challenges and this is for both: Greenhouses and indoor Cannabis growers.

With MolecuLED technology, the Cannabis grower can ensure that the plant will get the blue light when the plant is in the seed phase and will get the required red light when the plant is in the flowering stage. The conversion to the required wave length (color) can be achieved while simply using the natural sun light (so no cost is involved) as input while the MolecuLED technology will convert it to the desired wave length.

Additionally, for indoors cannabis growers, MolecuLED technology can save huge amount of cost by eliminating the need to use expansive Red Led. This can be achieved by converting the light of a much less expensive Blue Led to a red one, by putting, for example, a conversion sticker containing MolecuLED technology around the Blue LED.
